THE HOBBIT
Modern AU: Two MI6 officers. Thorin, an experienced field agent, recently released from an 8-year stint in a Russian prison through a spy exchange with the FSB; Baggins, a researcher who spends most of his time playing pranks on his fellow office mates. Much to the annoyance of both, Baggins has been tasked with keeping an eye on Thorin during his first mission back on English soil. What was supposed to be a routine mission ends up being anything but, and Thorin soon learns that there’s more to Baggins than first meets the eye.
